Veggie Bowl Food Truck Review

Image
There are two known veggie bowl locations and I decided to adventure off to Oregon City and try the newly added food truck.  The first time I went there I got the Hearty Veggie West which contained brown rice, quinoa, kale, tomatoes, mixed greens, avocado, black beans, black olives, flaxseed, cilantro, and Richi's Sauce. However I did remove the quinoa, kale, and flax seed knowing full well I would not enjoy them. And then added their Teriyaki Soy Curls, which if I had to say something they are known for it would be this.  Honestly, it turned out way better than I expected. Everything was fresh and tasted great and I was really happy with the one that I choose knowing I like all those other ingredients. And the soy curls tasted great, they say they taste like chicken which I don't entirely agree but to be fair I haven't had chicken in years. But there was nothing off-putting about the texture, which is a big thing for me I am very picky about texture, and I genuinely re...

Perky Jerky Review

Image
Vegetarian:  The flavor is okay but not exactly what I think of when I think of beef jerky. The texture is pretty spot on. But the shape and look are a little displeasing but so is regular jerky. I wouldn’t buy or ask for it again, it was a cool thing to try, but not something I’d ever really want but if offered I’d eat. But to take into consideration I don’t think I’ve ever craved beef jerky, as well as I, have never bought or asked directly for beef jerky so I guess I’d say it wasn’t any better or worse than regular jerky except for the fact that no animal was harmed which is good. I’d say a 5/10 Because it wasn’t great nor was it bad.  Vegan:  It’s good but very little for the price, the texture is pretty close to real jerky, has good flavor but a little dry, but beef jerky is supposed to be like that. It’s also gluten-free so that’s good. You can find it at Safeway, there are only 2 servings. If I was really craving jerky I would buy it but I’d really have to be cravi...

The Best Green Tea Recipe

Image
This is how I make my tea, I usually drink a 2-quart peach mango green tea pack so I can stay hydrated. But when I drink it all and don't want to make an entire new 2-quart drink I make some tea with tea bags. I used to only drink black tea because that's what my family would buy but I realize green tea is my favorite. I recently got a cute tea tumbler that has a silver tea strainer at the bottom of the bottle by fabfitfun. Which makes making tea so much easier, I would highly recommend. Youll need Green Tea (I got a pack of 100 from dollar tree) Splenda Hot water Ice (if you like cold tea which I do) This is how I make my tea, obviously, you can change it in any way. And the measurements i use are based on my tumbler, I could probably do less or more of some stuff but I like how it tastes and I don't want it any other way, for now. First I heat up 2 cups of water ion a measuring cup for 2 minutes. I prepare my Tumblr by adding 3 dollar tree tea bags in the bot...
